Sports and fashion often play havoc with youngsters during growth spurts.  Shoes are ill fitting.Through growth and activity, joint function is tested as youngsters try to achieve their optimum best.  Keeping abreast of childhood growth through nuitrition, posture, and balance can help minimise injury. 

Children have growth spurts at different times affecting their body including feet. Growth coupled with ill fitting shoes, falls or sports injuries can have far reaching effects. The developing child may present with clumsiness which may be a direct result of  poor balance and an imbalance which impacts the feet and subsequent problems such as leg pain, persistent ankle strains, heel spurs, achilles tendon problems. Correcting an imbalance may be a simple solution.
