General
Adults
The first consultation considers symptoms, medical history, lifestyle and posture, all of which are relevant in assessing and analysing the condition. Following this full assessment, should chiropractic intervention be appropriate, a plan is agreed tailored to suit each individual & their lifestyles.
Treatment begins with the use of gentle hand movements known as adjustments, administered the McTimoney Way. Aftercare guidelines are given.
If the examination reveals further investigation required, or a condition for which chiropractic is inappropriate, the patient will immediately be referred onwards.
Chiropractic is also a preventive therapy; when used in this way, greatly improves bodily health and well being, with improved immune function avoiding long spells of discomfort or recurring infections.
